Pictured is a recently built S-beam engine mount for an RV7A. It is a good example of how the engine mount can be customized for the specific installation. This S-beam is asymmetrical, extending further outboard on the exhaust side to provide clearance for the exhaust while on the cool side of the engine the beam is shorter to make room for a left side radiator. This engine mount has 1.25 degrees of right thrust built in. The S-beam concept can be adapted to any imaginable installation.
